A rested look, even after a long day.
An LED face mask for the evening.
The photos and promises are much alike. What is usually missing are the details that show whether a mask is good: which light it uses, what it is made of and what happens when the cable breaks.
The mask uses the two wavelengths most studied for skin.
633 nm
Red light
Reaches the outer skin layers.
833 nm
Near-infrared
Reaches the deeper layers. It is barely visible, so the mask mostly glows red.
The mask uses no UV light.
180 LEDs in flexible silicone
The mask follows the shape of your face.
A cable you can replace
The USB-C cable plugs in. If it breaks, you replace the cable and keep the mask.
Nothing to apply
You need no cream or gel and have nothing to wash off. So there is nothing to buy again.
1
Prepare your face
Wash your face and pat it dry.
2
Put it on
Plug in the cable, put the mask on and close your eyes.
3
Take it off
Unplug the cable and put the mask away.
The mask is for cosmetic use. It can make skin look younger. How visible this is depends on your skin. It does not replace medical treatment.
Monika Cauchy uses red and near-infrared light every day in her Skin Revive studio.
Wipe the silicone with a damp cloth and let it dry.
Within 2 to 4 working days.
If it is not for you, send it back, even if you have used it.
